Felicia is joined by Weird Alice to discuss Brian De Palma’s shock rock opera, Phantom of the Paradise (1974).
We chat about the growing cult status of the film, and how De Palma’s films were often underappreciated at the time of their release, and are now seen as masterpieces.
We gush about Paul Williams songs and how memorable and grandiose they are, along with how De Palma was able to put his own unique spin on the story of the Phantom.
